Question by xristos4: can i make a windows 7 bootable dvd in windows xp with nlite?
hello. i still use XP and before i turn to win7 i want to customize it. i know nlite is for customizing XP, so is there a way to do it on my XP pc? i tried to do it with vlite (which is for vista) but i need to download some things that only work in vista, not on my machine.
any clues?

nope, its not from the system installed. it can be done with a bootable cd or even a folder on your hdd. so, any thoughts?

To my knowledge, these programs will only make a Boot able CD/DVD from the system installed, not one that hasn’t been installed yet. It would be easier to get another hard drive and use it to install Windows 7, that way you still have your Windows XP hard drive untouched.
