Question by musicxbeat: Help with nLite Unattended Windows CD?
OK, so I am trying to create a FULLY Unattended Windows setup CD. I can get the basics. (Recent service pack is slipstreamed and RyanVM’s updates/hotfixes) However, I want to add my programs and drivers, but I don’t know how. I’ve done some researching but I’m still a bit confused. I’ve attempted a batch file but I really don’t understand it. I have RunOnceEX but still, I don’t understand it 100%. I have the newest version of nLite. My Windows CD is a dell OEM and it’s Windows Media Center. Help! =] It would be great if you could IM me and help me that way too.
Thanks, tigerc10! That WPI program looks like it could help a lot, but I don’t know how to use it. I’m looking for instructions on how to use it. Also, I did some researching on the driver packages and they usually make the DVD much larger than it needs to be. Plus I want it to install ALL of my drivers, such as my TV Tuner, Camera, TI Graphing Calc, Printer, Piano, etc.

Use Windows Post Install for your programs

As for the drivers, you can use DriverPacks. They usually have everything you’d need, but you can make your own “3rd party” driverpacks to use in conjunction with DriverPacks.

NOTE: Make sure that you use nLite before you use DriverPacks. Windows Post Install can be added in after DriverPacks, since you have to manually add WPI in.
